Neural
Engine
Neural
networks are a class of biologically inspired statistical models that
are regarded as state-of-the-art in the area of predictive models.
The architecture of a neural network model and the process by which
it 'learns' loosely mimics the brain.
The Neural
model used within The RiskSentinel has been 'trained' with gaming
transactions so it already understands the kind of repeat transactions
and velocities involved.
The engine
also 'learns' from each transaction and chargeback. As time goes on
it becomes more precise in its predictions.
The risk
score resulting from the analysis is built into the rules, enabling
the merchant/brand to decide on their confidence level.
